I found your contact information from the Peruvian Canadian Cultural Association website. I am a Project Manager in Calgary and we are looking to find an engineering candidate for a job in Lima Peru (in fact, we have two openings: one in Peru and one in Calgary). I was wondering if you have a website or a newsletter that can reach out to the Peruvian community. If so, I would really appreciate it if you could post the following:
“Acero Engineering Inc., a domestic and international facility and pipeline EPCM is looking for candidates for two current openings:
- Engineering Manager / Project Manager on a secondment basis in our client’s office in Lima Peru.
Candidate requirements include:
· Fluency in English and a strong command Spanish
· Engineering Degree plus a minimum of 15 years of proven facility engineering experience (either on the Producer or EPC side)
· Solid understanding of conventional oil facility design and installation, with a solid understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects involved
· Understanding of water purification is an asset
· Ability to drive a team to meet tight goals is essential.
· A “get it done” self-starter with the above attributes is an ideal candidate for the role
· Role duration is one (1) to two (2) years”; possibly a long term, permanent position with the client
· Candidate must relocate to Lima, Peru. Frequent travel to USA, Canada and South America will be required
· Start date: within the next month
- Intermediate Process Engineer to be added to the Calgary team
Candidate requirements include:
· Engineering Degree plus a minimum of 10 years of proven facility engineering experience (on the EPC side)
· Solid understanding of conventional oil facility design and installation, specifically with a solid understanding of:
o HYSYS
o Mass balance PFD development
o P&ID development
o Design Basis and Operation Philosophy development
o Hydraulic simulations
o Equipment Sizing (separators, tanks, compressors, pumps, PSV’s, Flare systems, etc.)
o Strong understanding of desalters and treaters will be an asset
o Understanding of water treatment/deoiling is an asset
· Ability to scope and estimate projects would be an asset
· Field commissioning experience would be a tremendous asset
· Ability to train and develop juniors
· A “get it done” self-starter
· Role duration is long term, permanent position with Acero
· Start date - immediately
